I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  1. If you could add the ionic charge for each element, that'd be great. Especially for multivalent elements such as copper and lead.

If you could add the ionic charge ex: (1+) at the top right for each element, that'd be extremely useful, especially for multivalent elements.

  3. Add a citation generator

As an academic, a lot of sites -- my school library, Pubmed, journals we have access to, and individual sites that use BibText, EndNote and RefWorks (there's also Zotero) make citing much easier.

Not only are there differences in Chicago, APA, MLA, AMA, Harvard, and so forth, but each journal has their own specifications. There are more advanced plug-ins that just let you search which journal and it will format the citation to those needs.

PTable is great because it allows you to explore properties with high granularity, and citations for that kind of information are more necessary than things…

  5. Nuclear Spins for NMR

The addition of nuclear spins and relative abundances would be very useful for NMR. I'm sure there are a lot of other nuclear properties people may be interested in; this may require another tab.

    e.g.
    http://triton.iqfr.csic.es/guide/eNMR/chem/NMRnuclei.html
    http://www-usr.rider.edu/~grushow/nmr/NMR_tutor/periodic_table/nmr_pt_frameset.html

  6. More features on DPT

Hi, can add important feature: Electrons, Protons, and Nucleus or Nu.., so it has three, because it has three things in atom, but no despcription of three, which it should have. And can include ratio of space and non-space. Which Electrons to protons, there is a gap of non-space, so can include diameter of space to diameter of non-space. I am sure ratio is important because when you have two blocks, one that is below and one that is above, so both are in paraelle at the edge, so it is zero non-space, so above the block can't go thru,…

  8. Add element source in the universe. For instance gold is formed in the merger of neutron starts.

at 32:50 in the below youtube video a period table is presented which shows which cosmic event(s) creates each element

  9. allow the atoms to be rearranged into attribute patterns based on heat content and orbital number

i had a theory that all atoms are hydrogen based and form their properties based on this structure of heat conductance, where the gaps of space are negative space (electronegativity-) within heat (electronpotential+)that controls movement and pattern attribute concentration(-4~4+=|8|@-0+ charge) culminating into elements(hydrogen@-1~1=|2|/1^(2).001(-1r.+002). could the elements themselves be removed and place into patterns to form different looking tables? or even a moveable form of the element itself?

  10. An interest in the origin of all the elements lead me into the study of nuclear astrophysics. I'd love to see an additional table sho

Please add a page showing the cosmogenic origins for all the elements (big bang, supernovae, neutron star mergers, etc. Nucleosynthesis data would be an awesome addition to this great website.
